Your quick-hit companion guide to getting up and running quickly in Clockwork Universe

Updated over a week ago

New to Clockwork Universe? Welcome aboard! We're here to help you make the most out of what Universe has to offer.

Our hope is for you to come away with a sense that your time spent with Clockwork Universe left you, your business, and your investor relationships better off than when you arrived. A few things we'd hope to achieve together:

1) Find your flow with investor relations

Even when not actively fundraising, you can unlock meaningful collaboration with your investors to promote the success of your business.

2) Build better communication habits and consistency

Communicate frequently, and send a formal update letter to your investor base at least quarterly. You can supplement these reports with briefs, informal updates, and press releases on an as-needed basis to keep your investors in the loop.

3) Master the investor update

Dividing your update into smaller, topic-based segments will make your letter more approachable. Ideally, the structure should get consistent over time.

4) Explore the opportunities of a multi-channel, real-time approach

There's no 'one size fits all' reporting style with Clockwork Universe. We've created tools so you can communicate naturally with your investors. Integrate your apps. Control access to real-time information. Create a smooth data flow for your investors. Fostering honesty and transparency leads to precise and impactful founder-investor collaboration.

5) Discover new value (and enjoyment) in your investor relationships

Investor relations are a natural and supportive process to your regular business reflection practice. Assessing your business's strengths and challenges more closely, and communicating about them openly, will open up new pathways.
